After food, one of my favourite thing to do is to go to new places, travel and stay in hotels. Whilst I’m a complete creature of habit and like to be organised, I also love the other extreme of that which comes with adventuring into the unknown and I absolutely adore the luxury and fun of staying in hotels. In fact, at some point in the next few years, I’m quite sure we are going to live in one for a time.

That said, I love my cooking and do miss having a kitchen and fridge when I go away, so I find a serviced apartment is a happy medium. This past weekend we had a little adventure into Surry Hills and got to stay in a very cool serviced apartment. Although not normal area of blogging, I like to share cool things with you all and quite honestly, I took quite a few photos of the crazy-amazing-carpet and feel the need to share those. Plus, who doesn’t love finding awesome accommodation?!

So we had dinner (and a few martini’s oops) with some of our awesome team in Darlinghurst at A Tavola (gluten free pasta available!) and decided driving back to Turramurra was a pain. Lucky for us, the lovely people at the ADGE Hotel Sydney were kind enough to put us up for the night in a sweet two bedroom apartment with a gorgeous lime green Smeg fridge, rainbow striped carpet and lots of fun details that made the whole experience feel very boutique and personal.

10 things I loved that will make me go back to the ADGE Hotel

1. The very sweet people working there who just went that little bit above and beyond and said cool stuff like this.

2. A complimentary energy elixir drink brought up to our room on arrival (deliciously coconutty).

3. One of my favourite body ranges from Appelles in the bathrooms – including bath bombs.

4. Their mini bar snacks aren’t your normal junk food.

5. Dead quiet, comfy bed and a pillow menu made for a perfect night sleep (and we actually just bought the same pillows because we loved them so much).

6. That lime green Smeg fridge, rainbow LEDs over the kitchen splashback, Miele oven and pod coffee machine (I could actually live there).

7. Ok and that crazy, uber cool, rainbow carpet. It’s custom made and oh so fun.

8. Because this is their motto and they have succeeded.

9. Because of the natural light and view out, surprisingly relaxing in the hustle and bustle of Surry Hills.

10.  Again that carpet. And that fridge. *Swoon*.

ZOMT visited the ADGE Hotel Sydney as a guest of the hotel, however my opinion is as always, my own.
